A bit off-track, but would it even hatch after 2 months?? The most i've ever had to wait for Phyllocrania ooths to hatch was 4-5 weeks the latest!
Thanks,

YEN IS GREAT yet again :-D
recieved an awesome order from him... great packing, great quality nymphs, everything is just fine!! THANK YOU YEN KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
Just recieved 10 wide-arm nymphs, 3 S. parva oothecae, and 1 rhombodera ooth from Paul today. Great guy to do business with!!! I sent him the money before the female even laid an ootheca, and he constantly kept in contact with me, giving me updates, and he sent out the shipment the next day...
Last time I ordered from Yen he included 3 free hierodula patellifera. When I sexed them they ended up being 3 females, I PM'ed him giving him the news and telling him in the near future I would purchase a male for them, and he went ahead and sent me 2 healthy males again free of charge and just...
This might sound like a newbie question, but I remember talking to a guy years ago about Hymenopus coronatus changing colors. I've always had orchid mantids either come out white, or pinkish. Are there any other possible outcome for their color? (other than the yellow form aswell).

Hello David, and welcome. Very nice terrariums! 80F is fine and humidity is best between 60-70%
Mantids are pretty easy going when it comes to temperature, as far as humidity, it doesnt play a big role in their life until it comes time to molt. if the humidity is not up there when they begin...
Thank you. I'm going to be working with D. Melanogaster, but I'll still give it a try. I'll stop at my local Home Depot today and search in the gardening section for Aluminum screening, or any other meshy materials.
Thanks for your responses.
I love those containers as well, however I was inquiring about the mesh because I wanted 2 make my own cage to house a group of mantids together, with a good amount of space.
Looking for flower mantid oothecae except Creobroter gemmatus and pseudoharpax virescens. Also may be interested in non-flower species, just PM me with what you have and a price.
Thank You.

in FL you need to be 15 to get a permit, and 16 for a License.
I recieved my license about a year ago, it was the easiest thing in the world!! The lady made me go around the block like 2 times, stopped at a stop sign, and the test was over LOL.
Unfortunately I didn't have my Camera, but they finally stopped mating around 4 o'clock today (wow like 26 hours later). Hopefully I'll get tons of little babies in the upcomming months :-)
you could just place them anyhwere that you have found nymphs at before, or any grassy, undisturbed lot. You could also ask other keepers/breeders on the forum if they are interested in any of the ooths free of charge, except that they pay shipping...
