I have a good 4 chinese in a nice big jar together. There were 10 originally but these guys were the strong ones apparently. I feed them mini crickes but throw a few fruit flies in too, just to be sure theyre all eating. Mine are all at like an L4 level now, so maybe your just feeding them...

I have two nymphs that have eyes that got damaged by other more fierce Mantids in the jar. Ive seperated them into a tank of their own and one of them just shed and his eyes are both fine now. It's amazing how they jist shed everythign off. Now Im just hoping the one that lost a leg can regrow...

lol oh man, at least you were able to catch him again. As a non native species he'd have been a nifty dinner for whatever found him, poor little guy.

Some of mine have pink eyes,but theyre ok just weird colors. Just leave him be, he's probably going through a shed. If it doesnt shed and accept food tomorrow or the next day then you can start worrying.

I gave all my nymphs FF's when they were just hatched. I had tried a couple teeny tiny crickets but they were too scared in the beginnign so the little guys are still on FF's and the bigger ones a few sheds ahead are on pinheads.
