    Bad day....

Just had to vent about this somewhere. So Im on my way to work today, and I only made it 3 blocks to the light and my car died. I was in the turning lane right in front of a school and had to keep flagging people to go around me. I tried and tried to get it restarted and then the low fuel light...

Again about housing multiple mantis together.

Evil I didnt mate my European last year I found her and she was huge. She laid me 5 ooths and none have hatched so far. OK got my Oothacae ... gettin' ready for the births

Since your here in SoCal I can help out. Go to PetCo or Pet People, I try and call ahead though. They usually have a small weird shaped little plastic jar with fruit flies. I keep 4 or 5 of them in circulation around here so I can rotate them. I found that if I feed them everyday or even...

    Guessing the ooth species

That picture helped identify my Mantids. lol. I posted a picture of their mother and we were undecided if it was a Stagmomantis Limbata or Carolina. She laid me 3 ooths and they were all very similar and darn if they dont look EXCATLY like the ones you have marked as a Limbata. Hmm, pretty...

    Hi everyone!

Welcome to the group. Robo, I dont have any either, so dont feel too left out.
  16. Butterfly

    Can someone help me?

Depends on how small he is. Go ahead and try, but dont put too many in the jar with him. I freaked out a baby mantis last year doing that lol. You can get a culture of fruit flies at a local Pet Co or pet people or one of those kinds of stores for 5$, he'll dig those.

Im a dork! What NOT to use as a temp covering on a tank....

Its the press and seal stuff, its sticky all over in order to adhere itself to the bowl.
  18. Butterfly

    Daily Routine

I usually get home and take them outside in their cages, They all fit in one big tray. That way I can mist them and check for sheds, and feed them without my mom spazzing about a loose fruit fly on the counter or floor. I pick a couple up and let them wander a bit on my hand but thats about it...
