    Gonypeta & Hierodula majuscala nymphs

EDIT: All Gonypeta and H. majuscala are sold--thanks! Hi folks, I have six L5-L6 Gonypeta sp. (Malaysian Bark Mantis, though this is a Mantidae, rather than Liturgusidae, species) nymphs available. The Gonypeta are a very small species, though at this stage, most of the nymphs can take down D...

    Brunneria

Did another trade with Alan and had another first rate experience! If you do a deal with him you should expect to experience some excellent communication; fast/careful shipping; healthy, beautiful bugs; and some lovely freebies. I'm very pleased with our transaction and won't hesitate to do more...

Tons of critters who need new homes!

Hi folks, My bug room is getting out of control, so it's time to make space. I've got the following mantids available for sale or trade: ·  10 x L3 Hierodula majuscala (these all have a unique orange/red/purple coloration, though it may disappear at the final molt) - $8 each - SOLD ·   4 x...

I am getting an invert I once disliked!

AGBs can be purchased legally on wardsci.com, though you are supposed to be an educator if you're buying them.

    Haania confusa adult female

I have a Haania confusa female that molted to adult two weeks ago, but sadly my male passed away before I could mate them. If anyone in the US has a Haania confusa male, I'm open to breeding loans, ooth shares, trades (I have a variety of cool mantis species and other inverts), or simply paying...

    Canadian Fruit Flies

Handfeeding an entire ooth worth of chinese nymphs would be a TON of work. Fruit flies are insanely easy to culture yourself--why don't you buy a couple cultures of FFs, then use them to seed homemade cultures from that point on?

    CosbyArt mantid thread

Sorry, to hear you keep losing nymphs, that really sucks!  :(  How often do they eat and drink? At L1, mine ate pretty much every single day (though only 1-3 fruit flies each time) and I sprayed them with a super fine mist twice daily and they always seemed to drink. They have actually turned...

    CosbyArt mantid thread

Congrats on the hatches! I recently hatched several Brunner's ooths after inducing artificial diapause (i.e., placing in an airtight contaner, then popping in my refrigerator) for 2 months, then removing and incubating them at room temp for a month. As mantisman 230 mentioned, this will cause...

    Pede collection

Thanks, man! Yeah, I love my mantids, but my centipede collection is my true pride and joy. I've still got most of the animals in the photos, though my big female banded heros arizonensis passed away recently of old age, which broke my heart, bc she was the biggest (legit 9" body length, not...

We just got hit with a snowstorm and I've got nothing else to do, so I'm finally gonna upload pics of some of my favorite centipedes. Not sure who else on the forum digs pedes, but I love to discuss chilopod husbandry and I'm always in the market for new species, so feel free to hit me up about...
