I was wondering how long I can expect him to live. I came home today to find he had moulted and he is ahead of the females so I want the chance to mate them before he dies of old age, thanks.
Yen is a great dealer! I just received my mantids this morning and even after a long shipment they were all fine. Three orchids molted in transit with no problems and the budwing ootheca hatched so now I am inundated with little mantids, what a great way to start a hobby!
Right now for herps I have some european toads, a marble gecko, 3 starred agamas, 2 thick toed geckoes, 1 spotted salamander, 3 african reed frogs(unknown species).
Hi I am from New Brunswick Canada and I am an avid reptile and amphibian keeper and decided that I should expand into inverts as they are so interesting. So I thought mantids were the way to go.
