    Tx, good thinking batman...i will. For the record...  3 tble spoons Potato flakes, 1/2 Banana, 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 tsp Yeast, 1 tsp molasses, approx 100ml Water, topped with hand full of homemade wood shavings ? Oh and.... not forgetting about 30 randy rascal flightless fruit flies...

    Sounds good, like the mold resistance with cinnamon, do you layer this with wood wool? ...are you able to successfully rotate and keep the cycle going?

    Good advice tx. The soil is a very lite organic mix, as i thought, as you say, that any strong fertilizer would be harmful but what should i use instead?

    They are very small fresh fruit flies just hatched, about a 1/4 the size of the mantids, one walked right past him, maybe he's not hungry yet, cages are small 7"Lx5"Wx3"H.
