Urgent!! I found my praying mantis upside down and mostly unresponsive in its enclosure today!

So it probably died due to falling while molting? Is it possible it was just playing dead, or does the part where it had that one last rush of energy cement the fact that it really died?

Urgent!! I found my praying mantis upside down and mostly unresponsive in its enclosure today!

I don't know the species for sure, but it is brown and has a white stripe on its head. I can provide a picture, but I believe it is a Chinese praying mantis. Also, I was feeding it every other day to every 2 days, not every day. Could it have been a parasite or something like that?

Urgent!! I found my praying mantis upside down and mostly unresponsive in its enclosure today!

Update: It just started moving again for a second once I transitioned it on my hand, but suddenly and abruptly, it fell with its legs spreading apart slowly as it was upside down on my desk. I think it just died... Any help in case it isn't dead would be appreciated..

Urgent!! I found my praying mantis upside down and mostly unresponsive in its enclosure today!

I believe my praying mantis is L3 or 4, and it molted about a wee ago. I've been feeding it a bunch of flies every other day or two, and it seemed to be pretty healthy. A few days ago, it started to stay in one spot for the most part, and rarely moved anywhere. Its abdomen doesn't look as if it...

Last molt, my praying mantis got deformed back legs. It just molted and the shell is stuck. Help!

I attempted something like this, and now one of the legs are free, while mos of the other is encased in the shell of the old leg. Here's a picture for reference:http://imgur.com/a/x9xBBWf It can walk fine, but I'm afraid of what might happen during the next molt because of this.

Last molt, my praying mantis got deformed back legs. It just molted and the shell is stuck. Help!

So, the old shell of my praying mantis got stuck in the back legs the only two times in molted. Last time, the mantis eventually got it off and had deformed legs, and after a little while was able to move mostly normally(one of the back legs sticking to the glass or something). Here's a picture...

Recently a ton of super tiny (<1 in. in size) praying mantises started coming out of my christmas tree. I captured a bunch, and now they're dying. Hel

I think that the mantis has at least moved the back legs around a bit(it just isn't sticking them to a surface), and the middle/front legs also work perfectly. I also know it can walk, I've seen it move a bit after molting. Does this increase the chances of survival, or are the back legs the...

Recently a ton of super tiny (<1 in. in size) praying mantises started coming out of my christmas tree. I captured a bunch, and now they're dying. Hel

I have a new issue - the last remaining mantis did it's first molt, and both back legs came out deformed, and the mantis isn't using them. Is this something I should worry about or will its next molt save everything?

Recently a ton of super tiny (<1 in. in size) praying mantises started coming out of my christmas tree. I captured a bunch, and now they're dying. Hel

I bought some live wingless fruit flies yesterday, and I managed to feed the one that seems to be the last one alive. I started spraying its cage regularly, too. By the way, how often should I feed it to keep it alive?

Recently a ton of super tiny (<1 in. in size) praying mantises started coming out of my christmas tree. I captured a bunch, and now they're dying. Hel

So, I captured maybe 10-20 super tiny mantises(or nymphs, if I'm not mistaken) crawling on the wall around my christmas tree. They were in a cage for a few days now, and their numbers are heavily diminished. I have no clue on what to feed them, as ham and ground beef doesn't seem to be working...
