    Leaving the hobby

I am sorry to see you leave the forum and stop working with mantids. Since 1968 have reared Leps, butterflies and moths, and loved it. let's start a thread of mundane occurrences!

I am haunted by dreams of the job I retired from 8 years ago. Making and flying airplanes (I helped, but am not an engineer or a pilot). Fantastical jetliners in dream-shape and form, none of which could ever really fly. Over and over and over. Therapy is not an option. Lol

Humidity Levels for Texas Unicorn Mantis

I have (4) nymphs of Phyllovates chlorophaea in (2) 8.5 net containers, and don't know the best range of humidity. Am going to cover the containers with plastic bags to maintain better humidity, leaving part of it open for ventilation. Looking for advice on % humidity.Thank you.

Thank you! I have a medium size mantis show up at my front porch light every September-not sure if this is Stagmomantis wheeleri. Will try to upload a pic that I took with my iPhone. In 2019 I had three of them at my porch light at once.
