    2 shades of brown - I. Oratoria

    Currently living in California and I noticed that sometimes the Iris Oratoria around here turn a darker brown to match the bark of the trees. Here is one compared to the usual tan colored ones found throughout the world. Anybody ever seen this occur themselves?
