    Mantisplace

I sent a few Stagmomantis Carolina ooths, laid by mantids that I mated, to hibiscusmile and received prompt payment via Paypal. Pleasure doing business and hope you can establish a good supply of these so anyone who wants some can try them out, hehe.

    Wanted: Dead Mantids

He's probably wanting to pin them and preserve them as a sort of specimen plaque like to show off a bunch of different mantid species.

    Cricket Quencher

the cricket quencher claims to help keep crickets from stupidly drowning in a water dish, but as for using it as a water source for mantids I would think you could just spray water mist on their enclosure walls ever now and then and they'll be fine. My mantids hardly ever drink because they get...

    fruit flies! Help!...

I would think if the room was too dark most of the time, like a dark closet then it would encourage mold growth in the culture but I dunno. Light seems to inhibit the growth of mold, at least for a few weeks in most cases.

    breeding and feeding feeder crickets?

I'm wondering how you can successfully keep up the breeding rates if you remove the laying container everytime it has a few visible eggs on top....because then there are more than 1 cricket laying eggs and they each lay 100 eggs so how do you know how many eggs the cricks have lain, and then...

    breeding and feeding feeder crickets?

My adult crickets laid some eggs in the eco earth stuff but now I dont see the eggs or any pinheads. Is it possible the adult crickets ate their own eggs or have already eaten the pinheads within like a day even though they have cricket food and bread available?

    Killing flys with cold

come on! Stand up and be a man, I'm in college and I cook for myself in microwave, on stove, and in oven. Hamburger helpers/Tuna helpers, canned ravioli, frozen meals go a long way.

    feeding MANY mantids

I have 20 in individual cups I made from water bottles with pieces of sponge stoppering the bottles, so I remove the cork of each bottle one at a time and pour food in. I poured multiples of fruit fly in when the mantids were still like L3 back when I separated them, and now that I'm feeding...
