Dont like T. blondi. Just a big, looking, scabby brown spider that flick hairs at you all the time. For a big brown jobbie, I'd personally go for either H. gigas or P. cancerides. H.gigas tend to dig and hide too much though. Nowadays I tend to concentrate on mainly African stuff. Mainly...

Nice. Pet holes. I've had about 7 over the years and every time one pops it I say "Never again". They are just a waste of shelving to be honest. Like a JCB with blue legs. If you dont give them enough substrate they stress out too much and die, if you give them enough they dig a hole and if...

    Selling to stores

I charge stores either the same or even a little bit more than I charge the gen. public and only really let them have bog standard species in any number. Perhaps a couple of bigger "better looking" species to grab peoples interest. My mate who works there then gives people my number if they...

    New ghana Miomantis...

It was bought from Martin French. I was looking at them myself. They look a bit like abyssinica but not as stocky. Not sure but I seem to remember it having stubby wings as well but may be getting mixed up.

April's bug shows - who's gunna be there?

Yeah, I'm going to both. If you see some idiot with a scorpion and a "Land Rover" badge tattooed in his head come over and say "Hi".

    your pick?

Under-rated-- Popa spurca crassa (Twig mantis). I love 'em. They look cool and run after food like it's going out of fashion. You would expect anything with such good camoflauge to just sit and wait for food but they'll run after it. Over-rated--coronatus (Orchid). Just cant get into them...
