    Dying Chinese

    we also lost a large amount of ours during this time frame, never did figure out why, but we were very upset by it. nothing really different then any other day. feeding them crickets, misting like normal. it was strange to us that we had so many die.

    we have one that hangs out in our kitchen window behind the sink, we have plants up there too. he pretty much stays in that general area but now that he's an adult he goes between the living room and the kitchen, i think looking for a mate. We mist him when he we see him and then collect him up...

    we also just used razor blade and carefully removed ooth. the ooth was dry before we tried no damage done to ooth.

    we have our carolinas in Hi-C juice containers and we are always on the look out for pretzel containers at Menard s or Gorden Foods where ever. found a great animal crackers container. It's great food and mantis house in one easy package. Probably helps we have hungry 3 year old to eat the stuff...

    i totally agree. not looking to copy anyones care sheet without asking of course and without giving that site credit. i know it takes alot of experience and hard work to write the caresheets. being a little new at the hobby just trying to get some leads and to make the care sheet as informative...

    new to the mantis world

    we definitly love our carolinas, most are now 6th instar and are quite nice and most seem to be pretty mellow, now we have chinese nymphs and the are alot more jumpy then i remember the carolinas being when they were this little. don't know if there is any truth to that or not.
