Ya I heard about that. I was really sad cuz I used to stay up late and watch his shows when I was younger. I get to go to Australia maybe next year, and one of the places we go will be very close to where he died.

they dont seem to be messed up but thet are just sticking out at odd angles. i was talkin to someone and I showed him the mantis. He said it looks like she might have been hanging upside down when she was drying the wings out.

My Carolina mantis molted into adulthood the other day and her wings are all spread out. She cant seem to get them down. Does anyone know what could have caused this?

I bought three B. borealis from him. I received the mantids and they were in very good condition, althought one had started molting in the cup and it had a bad molt and appears to have no power in one leg and very little in the other. He had great communication and always answered my questions...

I gave a M. paykullii that molted yesterday and the old skin is stuck to one of its feet. It is not stopping it from walking but it cant walk as fast as the others. How could I get the skin off of the mantis? Should i mist it?

I am looking at getting a Brunneria borealis from this site. It says there are no males in the species but then how do they reproduce. Are they real hard to care for and what would be a good enclosure for something that big. If anyone can give me some information on them please do. Thanks, Cass

Same here. about three weeks ago i collected some small nymphs but then about 2 weeks later i wsa finding some sub adults.

right now it is not very big. it has molted 2 times with me and i think at least once before i got it. it is bout an inch and a half long.

bought 2 M. paykullii ooths from her. arrived nicely packed and looked well. she even gave me an extra ooth. I will be buying from her again, hopefully soon.
