    Room heaters

Hi All, i have a small garage which ive been getting ready to keep mantids (plus fish, amphibians etc) in. Ive insulated the walls and roof as best i can and have a sturdy kitchen-style worktop around 3 quarters of the outside with extra shelves and so on. Now i would like to use several heaters...

    Never-changing substrate?

Dont worms and microbes do this in the wild? no substrate is the way forwards though. I sometimes use small potted tropical plants (types with woody stems), they help with humidity as the leaves constantly release moisture, and they dont mold as long as they stay healthy. but need good light...

    Wasp control

It is sad and true that bee's in England are on a decline. im gonna plant loads of native wild flowers in the garden (have already planted some) to help them out, also going to make a few behive's for them, then i wont feel guilty feeding the odd one to the mantids once they are established.
