    oh yeah i also witnessed her poop one day after eating ; she turned around and started dropping lil white pkts on the corpse, i mistook for eggs till a bit of googling heh

    Any beekeepers here?

    some of these guys on this other forum theearthgarden have convinced me to build mason bee hives this spring, (they are solitary bees making single pkts of honey/eggs they arent usefull for honey harvesting but it has been said they pollinate more flowers than honey bees.

    yeah i'm on that antfarm.yuku forum recently found a mature colony of house ants in my room, and captured them, keeping them in a series of mason jars with dirt connected with aquarium airline tubing great stuff cause its strewn around my computer i can always look down and see ants walking...

    the idea being heat speeds up metabolism, increasing to a point till overheating/death occurs (dont want to cook em)

    just stumbled upon this place looking for an exotic mantid species to care for all i can find locally is the chinese type everyone uses for greenhouses ;) i nearly have an entire zoo in my room, cats, cacti, plants, ants, spiders, crabs and crickets :D those orchid mantids look cool!
