Male subadult or adult Phyllocrania paradoxa (Ghost mantis)

Hello everyone, I'm in need of a male Ghost mantis for my 3 females that are almost ready to mate. In exchange I can trade, pay money, or send ooths / nymphs from the pairings. I'm very interested in a fresh adult male but a subadult will also work. I have many species to trade for adult male...

    Mantids found in Peru

Oh yes a very long life, took one of my pairs to reach adulthood from 2nd instar over a year! Then they lived for another 6-8 months. This one is easily over 8 months old!

    Largest mantis species (not longest)

Sometimes over 15cm, the largest part about them is how huge and wide their abdomens are!
  16. MantisMatt14

    Largest mantis species (not longest)

Hierodula majuscula can get huge in the wild! Also another would be Macromantis, they get enormous.

How long should I wait to breed my Idolos after theyve reached adulthood?

I would say at least a month. Wait till you see her start calling then try to breed. Or just keep both together for their whole lives and let them do their thing
