Ok, so Shiva molted last night, and I think he has maybe 1 or two molts left. Sadly one of his back legs past the first joint has curled and he is struggling with it.... but everything else is just fine! Your advice? Do i cut it off?

For about a week... I have tried to feed him on crickets but he just doesnt really seem interested. Literally been right next to them and not cared. Not showing any molting signs, ive caught a fly and put it in there but im getting concerned....

Do Mantis seek heat? Mine has been crawling about on my macbook for a while, and is now just on the upper left corner of the keypad... where its warmest... lead in a flat line, body pressed down and not moving. Hes been there for a while now.... hes ok isnt he? Im screwed if I need the esc key...

Sorry in advance if this is stupid, ive only had her for a day! The tops of her legs are quite dark, almost black... I believe she is an african so is this just colouring or is something up? Also... shes been upside down all day today.... is she soon to moult?

New to the forums and a new mantis keeper! Ive got my first little one... Shiva... love her to bits. I think shes an african, but Im not 100%.... actually got her from one of the people on these forums :)
