    I thought about using gauze bandage to line the lid of a 32oz deli cup. Will this provide enough ventilation and grip? What about humidity, would that be an issue? I know it probably won't do for an adult mantis, but I intend on moving it over to a different container once it grows older. But...

    Absolutely stunning! The beauty of the animal kingdom really sees one of its peaks among the insects. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of camera do you use? I'd love to take these kind of pictures myself once I get my own mantids.

    Title says it all, really. I need to get a hold of some deli cups for housing Hierodula Membranacea nymphs, but they are seemingly unavailable in my area. Is there anything I can use as a replacement? Or do you know any sites I can get these shipped in from? Also, I intend on making my own lids...
