    thanks for the reply. I've just had a look at her and she seems unable to hang upside down. I put her on the netting at the top and she fell off. She's currently sitting upright on a leaf.     Hi guys, I woke up this morning and checked on the mantids to discover that my female ghost has lost one of her back legs. I'm not sure how it happened - she hasn't shed and neither does she have any crickets in with her. Shes very wobbly now so I don't think she will be able to hunt properly...

    Thanks for all of the replies. I live in the UK and got it from my local exotic pet shop. I thought it was a bit too big to be just 3 months old. Never mind. I'm still enjoying having him as part of my collection.

    Hi Guys,  Picked up my 5th Mantis this morning. Its a cat eyed mantis, 3 months old, and about 4-5 inches long already :)   Does anyone know if they require anything specific. The man in the pet shop was none too sure about them  thanks  vicky
