    Sarah K (PanTerra Pets)

We had a great order with Sarah.  She helped give us a lot of great information about getting started with mantids.  We ordered 2 Carolinas and 2 Thistles from her that were well packaged.  It was just a great easy way to get started.  Thank you so much Sarah!

    Greetings friends

Welcome!  We are new to Mantises also and just got some Carolinas from Sarah/Panterapets that are really fun, they came well packed and are healthy and eager to eat.  Save changes also has some listed in the for sale area.

    Mantid Day!

Thanks for the reply.  We did have fruit flies but they seemed too big so we went to the store and got a different kind.  That seemed to work.  I also did put a tiny bit of honey near where they were perched and we did notice some of them taking the honey.  I think that we are on track...

    Mantid Day!

We got 4 types of Mantids this morning--many thanks to Kermit and Sarah! (I will post in breeders area a bit later.)  My daughter, Sky, is so excited.  They are soooo tiny.  I am a little worried that even the flies are too big for them.  Do you have to cut the flies in half when they are this...

Mantises Were My Gate Way Drug

Teamonger, I love how you wrote this, "Mantises were my gateway drug."  My family went to the ATL Repticon looking to see if we could find any Mantis but I guess they were banned :-( but my daughter fell in love with a crested gecko and I want to make a tank (or two) of dart frogs.  Totally...

    That didn't go well....

Benayla, Oh I am so sorry to read about your female!  My daughter, who is also on the forum, is so excited to get mantises this next week but I am not for this exact kind of reason.  I am all about communal living and not worrying about heads getting eaten!  Thank you for sharing your story.

    Nick Barta - (US)

I had a great transaction with Nick.  The previous feedback on here is older, it seems Nick was of the forum for awhile but is back.  He has a website: https://www.fullthrottlefeeders.com.

    Hello from Fl

@spottsy99 if you are going to be in Atlanta at the show, I would be happy to say hello and introduce myself. @Zeppy44 yes I hear that caution is needed with agencies, I just have some magical hope that education and open mindedness will win out over government regulation and fear.  Since...

    Hello from Fl

Hello, obviously by my user name I am interested in stick bugs. I have been worried about posting because I feel like as a group we should work to reverse the somewhat to me wild idea that stick bugs and mantises are going to rule the earth, so please forgive me if putting that idea out is...
