Does anybody know what these are?

Does anybody know what those little clear bumps are in the center of my Indian Flower Mantis's head? He's a Creobroter gemmatus, if that helps. Thanks!

Finally got my spiny flower baby!!

@crabbypatty Thanks! Looks like they're sold out for now, although that might not be a bad thing because I have so many right now anyway! Who do you know that sells them? I'll keep them in mind in case I decide to go ahead and get one now. Thanks!

Finally got my spiny flower baby!!

Where'd you order it from? That's one species I've been wanting to get, but I can't ever seem to get my hands on one!

    Orchid Molting

For those who have kept orchids, how long does it typically take a newly hatched nymph to molt to L2? I've had my little nymph for a while, and I'm anticipating a molt any day now, but it's not showing any typical pre-molt symptoms.

I got lucky with a mismolt!

I've heard horror stories about mismolts, but I'd been lucky enough to not experience them with my first few mantids. Finally got an Orchid nymph!

I do too! Part of why I went ahead and got an L1 was so that I could snap a few photos of that coloration before it molts away.

    Finally got an Orchid nymph!

I've been wanting to raise one of these for a while now, and I already love this little nymph. I know they're notoriously fragile, so here's hoping we make it to L2 and above!

    Wasps in Ooth

I found a mantid ooth yesterday, and put it in an enclosure for hatching. However, after a few hours, I noticed a couple of Torymidae wasps emerging. Have any of you dealt with these, and do you think there's any chance that there are still viable eggs in the ooth that will hatch nymphs? Thanks!
