So, while raising different varieties of flies outside, my fly rearing container all of a sudden got filled up with the following larvae. They are definitely different than houseflies or black soldier larvae. Hopefully I can find out what they are...

Will anyone help me ID these please?

Few options...

1.) some species in the Family: Bombyliidae

2.) some species in the Family: Syrphidae

3.) some species of fly that has predatory larvae....a few years back, I was culturing blow flies and something similar to what you're holding also appeared with the blowfly maggots....so I tried separating a few of the spikey/barbed maggots, but I missed one or two blowfly maggots...next thing I knew, one of the larger spiked maggots wrapped itself around the blowfly maggot and started eating it! (burying itself in the side of the blowfly larva)..then then other spikey larvae started wrapping themselves and eating the lonely blowfly larva as well...I thought it was awesome...so I kept "feeding" spikey larvae until I left them outside, and they disappeared....no-idea what it is, but cool nonetheless. (actually if I remember correctly, my predatory spp was more spikey, oh well :) )

4.) I have no idea.

If anything, just put them back in the growing bucket, wait til they mature, leave the bucket and pupate (their pupal shell should be spikey/barbed as well)...then just isolate these "foreign" pupae and wait till they hatch then share! :)
