2 black lines under abdomen

I noticed these 2 black lines under his(possibly her, I honestly don't know) abdomen, any idea what they are?

He is still eating fine and not acting out of the ordinary.

I have a Heirodula that gets lines like that when she's had some big meals. That's a plump mantis. If there's no discharge I wouldn't worry about it. That being said, I think your mantis could miss a couple of meals.

Yeah he just got done eating a big roach so that's why he is so plump haha ?

That explains why I didn't see the black lines before and now I do though, good to know its not totally out of the ordinary.

Think they show the 2 black line when they do a threat pose. My female Hierodula had them too. I found a vid where one does a threatpose

Also if I counted correctly it looks to me like a female. (5 segments is what I counted, I could be wrong though).

Yes she looks plump and full!
