I have a bunch of mantis related pics i need to get off my camera so here they are:

Oh and i will be uploading more tomorrow

Sub adult male:

Same male under a black light, enjoying a snack:

EDIT: There has been misunderstanding so i would like to clarify that i did not feed a live, healthy mantis to the Hierodula multispina, the nymph was already dead.

I would like to apologize in advance for the poor quality, i took most with one hand, probably should have done a two photo stack of the moth's face because i didn't get the antennae :(

Anyone know what species the last beetle was, because my mantis loved it, someone said it was a rhino beetle lol?

do u realize that only 2 of the mantises u sent me r still alive since they were probably stressed out and u r feeding the species to other mantises? :tt2:

no it's fine i dont care go ahead lol i have enough mantises :D
Wait what? You never told me that so i did not realize that :(

Guess its kind of risk of sending wild* ones :/

Oh and i wouldn't ever feed a living, healthy mantis to another mantis. Seems cruel to me.

Like i said, i had accidentally stepped on him when i was going to take photos. He had jumped off and i lost him, while looking for him i stepped on him. So i gave it to the multispina.

Ok, they usually begin to pop up around my lights (males) around late august. And females i find during the day :D

I generally keep the females but catch males, mate them, then release.

But i can keep some for you if you want
