Went on my back porch tonight and found this little dude on the screen. Figured I'd save him some time and started feeding him cadis fly's, he started taking two at the same time! The other picture was apparently a lucky shot. I was snapping a requested pic of a religiosa that is over 4 inches when I decided to play with Tristen, I touched her back and she did a little spin into a threat display! Unfortunately for her I have to describe it as cute, not threatening, as she is barely over an inch long =)
For some reason I can barely find any mantises where I live, but at a friend's house I find them by the dozens!
