A couple mantieds I found last weekend

Here are a couple pics of some Chinese Mantids I found last weekend. We found them a couple hundred miles apart and were not even out looking for them, they seem to find my son.

I'm pretty sure those are european mantids but nice pics anyway.

yea they look more like religiosas.

I was under the impression that Michigan only had Chinese mantids. I could be wrong and if I am thats cool. Thanks for the info

You see those spots on its arms?

Thats the trade mark for Europeans :lol:
