For larger species, that is probably about the practical limit at early July. Here in CA, I had a late release of Chinese at the start of last August and I doubt any made it to adult since I still found L3s and nothing past L5 by November. Ultimately, it would depend on the availability of food and the temps 2 to 3 months later in your area.if you had a ooth hatch in the middle of or june or early july is it too late to release the nymphs if it is one found locally?
