so one of my chinese molted the other night to l'4, and it was almost all the way out and took a small spill. its perfectly fine and functions normally but its abdomen is creased, and wont stay straight. while hanging up side down his abdomen just hangs down and he cant hold it up.. im thinking i will be fixed next molt right? someone let me know, ive never had this happen

This happens all the time with Chinese, and unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it. Some don't make it; others get a straight abdomen after feeding, when the abdomen is turgid, and then it "falls down" again when the food is digested. This second type shows a better chance of survival until the next molt when the problem should go away.

I think I got the "flop" too

I've had it happen with them after normal molts. Doesn't seem to bother them much.

On ocasion i have had this problem as well. In a few cases they have bleed out in the process of there next molt where the crease is. The exoskeleton is weak there. Good luck!

:( this is kinda upsetting, but all i can do is hope for the best. it is walking on the ground a bit more so the abdomen isnt hanging. i guess its uncomfortable.

Don't get upset. I would day 75% of the time they molt just fine. :) Very rarely do they miss molt even in this condition.
