New here, so pardon me if this topic is already addressed elsewhere (didn't see it discussed anywhere else, tho).
I have a Chinese mantid that recently molted (in its next-to-last instar: it has wing buds). Right after the molt it appeared fine. But about three or four days later, it has developed what looks like a rather painful kink in its abdomen. Its abdomen dangles straight downward (from the bas) whenever the animal hangs upside-down (which is frequently). Surely this must interfere with digestion and circulation, yes? Has anybody seen this problem before? Any treatment/advice for helping my pet?
Thanks for your attention.
