Acromantis formosana Mating

today I got a male acromantis for my female Acromantis formosana and noticed when he got on her there was no connection or anything and wonder if it could be a wrong species of acromantis the male or maybe the female or is the female too fat to get the male to mate with here and here is a image of the 2 together!

did a trade for the male and well hope that its the later of her being too fat but just posting this to be sure!

Happens all the time. She is not too fat. If they don't connect try again in a few days.

well there is the possibility that they are both different acromantis species but not sure if that makes a difference in their mating or not!

The male will find a way eventually. They will still mate even if they are of different species.
