Finally! One of my males has molted to adulthood. I have waited three months for this guy to molt.

Yes, it has been close to 90 days. He molted to sub-adult in the beginning of October. I have never had to wait so long before? I don't know why it took so long? He was also kept very warm, and well fed.

It always takes mine forever to molt as well.

The longer it takes, the weaker they get, to where I have to help them get perched

in the proper stretching possition as they fall. Then I have to hand feed them for a few days

until they build up some strenght.

Will you be mating him?

As you know, I am itching to get more of these, so please keep me posted on your

breeding progress since you and Yen are the only ones I know who breed cilnia's.

His death is the most random i have ever seen yet! I deceided to try and breed him. Everything started so smoothly. He stalked the female jumped on her back positioned himself perfectly. I left them alone for a few hours. I come back, and he is on the floor stiff as a board! There appears to be no physical trauma. The female was nothing but gentle. So strange? I hope his brothers don't share the same fate?

Yep, Carey is trying to breed them.

I got one from her a long time ago. I believe Yen gave (sold) her a few cilnia ooth's and she says

she loves them.

I still have 6 that im growing, i cant believe the males look like that, lol there pretty but look much less furocious then there lady counter parts
