My mantis female is mated at 3 weeks. When will she lay her first ooth? She has mated. Where will she lay it? What orientation do I put it in? If she lays it on a kritter keeper top, how do I safely remove it?

The mating doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. How long has she been adult? No way to say where the ooth will be placed. You can leave it in the same orientation as the female puts it in. If it is attached to a surface and you  need to remove it give it plenty of time to dry. I usually wait a week. With many ooths you can just pop them off but if this makes you nervous or is not practical you can use a razor blade and gently slide it between the ooth and the surface.

She will lay ooths every 2 to 3 weeks now, she should lay her first one within this next week, unless she is to fat and may be eggbound, but lets wait and see.

She has been an adult for a few weeks (3-4 to be exact). Can they be incubated at room temperature?
