Again a failed molt :-( :-(

Hey.

I´m new in our forum and from austria ;-) Not AUSTRALIA Forgives my bad english, but i need it very rarley :-(

I have a big Problem with my mantid :-( She had yesterday morning her last molt to adult. But she lost both wings and the protect wings too :-( (fall down)

Now she lies on the ground and is very weakly, but she drinks a little bit water and try to catch little grasshoppers. They are too strong for her :-(

Today i buy micro hoppers ( 2-3 mm big) and try to feed her.

As their are good chances to survive ?

I do not want to give it up simply :-(

There is always a chance to survive. When I find mine like this, I try to get them to hang. when they are able to hang for some reason they have a better chance imo.

I'd advise not trying to feed her yet, it is too soon. It sounds like the mantis is trying to scare the crickets away. Do not try to force feed her yet.

It will not eat for 3 days after the final moult - don't worry if thi extends to 5 days !
