Hi everyone :)

My mom has been tested for allergies, and one of the first things that came up were cockroaches. And when I had my hissers she reacted badly to them. I wasn't exactly keeping them the best though because they had babies and then I had them in paper towel in little tubs to sell them.

But now I caught some wood roaches, they got me interested in roaches again but I don't want ones that will make my moms and I's allergies react badly. I am not directly allergic to roaches and my allergies have gotten better. My mom is on shots for everything and so her allergies are getting better also.

So what would be good choices for some more allergy safe roaches?

Well, most cockroaches have a similar chemical makeup, so there will always be a few allergy symptomes. but if you want a clean one id say bananna roach? Im no expert though.

Also, the Gyna species were mentioned in Zephyr/roach crossings videos for their pleseant smell. Would those be considered clean?

Oh, and these are more for pets ;)

The banana roaches look pretty cool :)

I believe a lot of people with asthma are sensitive to proteins in their feces and saliva. I'm not sure if all the species make the same proteins, but maybe if you kept their container very tidy, it wouldn't be as aggravating to her allergies. I have some banana roaches and I think they are pretty cool, not to mention a gorgeous shade of green. Shame she's so allergic, because they really are interesting pets to have around.
