My Limbata is named Amazon and she died hanging i didnt notice till today, but is there a reason for early death like this? she was only like 2-3 months old with a mismolted raptor(only one). The male is still alive i just dont know why shes dead, she wasnt egg bound she had just laid a 2nd ootheca, she looks healthy enough. Im just so sad that i want to know if its something i did or was it just her willingness to live gone? :(

as many will tell you that they can just fall over and die for no reason or something!

I doubt it's her 'willingness to live' gone as they just live on instinct and that's to live. Sometimes they just die even as adults you can never know why sometimes just happens.

it just sucks cuase she was a second generation and i liked her alot, is it possible for them to die from being to cold? i dont know i want to figure it out so i can try to prevent it next time.

that happend to 2 of my giant asians. IDK why, but they just died. If you notice 1 mantis of a group of mantis acting wierd or dieing... it happends. Like the amount of mantis that live during or after hatching. thats why mantis lay so many eggs. the chance of god can happen...

I had 3 Giant Asians and 1 is perfictly fine...!

I've had some limbata females only live a few months. My oldest are only 5+ months. Those three were out of a group of about 12 to 14.

EDIT:

Cripes! this is an OLD thread!
