This time bark mantids. This was from a deformed ooth that I was going to throw out. 56 days.......

Always give those ooths a try.

Have you kept these before? I found they do better if you individually cup them rick, i tried keeping them in small groups but had heavy losses, as you probably have already seen they are really skittish and set of running if a sibling or ff touches them. Good luck with them.

Best of luck with them, Rick. I failed with these after my ooth hatched. It hatched about the same number, but after about 4 days, all but one I think died overnight. I think I misted them too much. Poor little things... it's a shame they died due to my ignorance. The only bright side is that I'll know better next time.

I have six others that are L4 or so and they are doing great. I killed about six of these new ones today. They seem very susceptible to drowning. There was a bit of water at the bottom and they had gotten stuck in it.

Way to not throw out the ugly..deformed duckling ;) lol. This is awesome man, hope all goes well with them, and please post pix of them with their progress!

Congrate Rick. Yeah the hatchling can drown easily becasue they have problem upright themselves once tripping over, but i believe you have plenty of moss as substrate that will help.

I have been using the paper towels and I really overwatered. Many of them came out fine. I moved them to a larger enclosure with tons of places to hang from. Will feed them today for the first tiem.
