I think you need to seriously increase the humidity. There really isnt any other reason for so many bad sheds...just put a container full of water in the cage...

see i got thwm from a zoo.. the oldest zoo in the netherlands and they brreding them for 60 years but now...

al that 60 is like 100-120 generations whithout buying otths from othe people so childs mating each other lay eggs-eggs chatched-mantids reach adult and mate again..

i know what the dutch name is but i dont know the the english anme

for everyone who have this, EACH TWO GENERATIONS BUY AN OOTH OR MALE OR FEMALE FROM AN OTHER PERSON OR EVERYTHING GOES WRONG!!!!

AND: i see now that the zoo where i get them from, (artis) will dont have any mantids the comming 10 years becouse they al die,

now may male who eats 10 crick sinse being adult stopped whit eating becouse of the inbreeding.

its not only this spieces but this count for every insect(and reptiles) that can keeping in terraria.
