Hey everyone...

Do any of you have a phylogenetic tree (or something close to it) that includes class insecta and focuses on the mantids??

thanks...

Oh, thank you! After doing some research, I found the same cool and helpful site:

http://tolweb.org/tree/phylogeny.html

I need a phylogenetic tree because I am writing a small report for my Biological Princials Course on I. Oratoria (I love having Biology as a minor!). We have to state the species classification, it's ancestors, relatives, body plan, life style and cyle, reproduction, etc.

My professor allowed us to choose any organism that we wanted to choose(from cyanobacteria, to slime molds, to rotifers, to anphibians, to mammals, etc.) and of course I chose my favorite mantid species, Iris Oratoria!!! =)
