Anyone want to offer some photos?

The mantis handbook needs to be reprinted again and I was thinking of finally doing a minor update, 2nd edition, by adding a color photo page inside. I don't believe there's much on the husbandry end to add, but it would be nice to include some more species. Anyone have any photos they'd like to donate? Of course your name would go under the photo description. Some species that would be nice to have a good photo of are Idolomantis, shield mantis, maybe some others..

Also, I might add a small area with B/W oothecae photos if anyone has shots that would show up good in B/W. I have a bunch of photos but not all are the best quality or species.

birdfly - but there only 639x471,..way to small for print i think?.

orin - i dont upload originals..to many thief out there..all mine are uploaded at 1200x800..but the originals are 3888x2592...i have way to many pictures to post.so il leave it up to you..your have to send me some links to my email address..then il email you back the originals [email protected]

So you want to add a photo of Idolomantis, but not a proper caresheet for the species? Makes not much sense. However, if you understand German, or know someone who understands it and can translate it for you, or if you want that I translate our caresheet for you, write me a PM.

for the record, any of the ones on my blog are fair game. none are particularly good though, theyre mainly just snapshots to record a moment or to show size for example, as opposed to look good. as for eremiaphila, i only have a couple that are clear:

i have them a bit bigger too if you would like. this was a female, i forget which instar though, i think about 2 moults from adult? in hindsight i wish i had taken more of them!
