Hi! I'm very concerned, my L4 New Zealand mantis molted to L5 today apparently and her arms are crossed. One looks as if it is pressed at a diagonal across, so the other is sort of compensating for it. Is she going to live? What should I do?

A picture would help :) You may have to hand feed her until next molt. Is there any way you could attempt to straighten the arms with the tip of a pencil, or would that risk breaking them off?

I have been hand feeding her which seems to be helping, she can move around okay, not perfect, but I think she will make it to the next molt. She's uncrossed them but they are a bit angled to the side. I will try to figure out how to upload a photo

Thanks!
