Assassin Bug

Found this guy in my back yard today while catching months and other insects to feed my mantids. I think hes pretty cool and can't wait to see him eat. I don't think he is hungry today so maybe get some pics / video tomorrow of him eating.

I wish we had some here, they look incredibly gnarly. And I hear their bite is horribly painful. Wanna sacrifice yourself for the greater good of science Biohazard? haha

That thing is awesome! Love the colors on it.

I'm keeping some wheel bugs right now and they love to eat mealworms and suck the juices out :lol: You'll love watching this guy eat!

Nice maybe we can trade some assassin bugs too when we do trade what we have been talking about Will he eat crickets? Do they stalk their prey or wait for it to come to them?

Cool, I think you'll like these guys. I caught one for somebody else and ended up keeping it for myself. Mine is adult now. Fun to watch him hunt a cricket.
