i would like either an ootheca or sub adult pair (m/f) of b.mendica.

would prefer in the uk or europe, at a fair price including shipping.

I have two adult pairs, and one subadult pair. Two weeks ago the first pair mated, and I'm currently incubating one ooth - so, who knows - maybe, it will work out.

i have tried emailing lars a couple of times but havent had any reply as of yet.

kruszakus, how long would you say till you might have an ooth available?

any news on those asian ant ooths yet?

put it this way..i bought 110$ worth of mantids from him..he sent them on monday last week..its now tusday 8 days later and they still havent arived..its not looking good buddie..and the deal was if any thing happens to them on the way its on my back.so i wont be getting a replacment or refund..so imo its not worth the risk..If they dont turn up today i will loose all hope in them turning up alive.

ah, ermm i just got an email back from lars (few seconds ago) saying that shipping (inkl. heatpack, and stürophorm packing ), and takes ussually 3-5 days.

ive emailed back saying how do i go about paying... do you think i should i leave it?

not sure..this is 1st time i have got any thing from him..im only telling u whats happened to me..i live in south west mayby its taken longer to get here...i know he packs them really well..and feeds them alot..so who knows.mayby they will be ok.?many in uk have got stuff of him with no probelms//this is why i went there,,just cause its day 8 and they havent turned up dont mean it will happen to u..its up to u..i was willing to take the risk because i want the speices that much.but its day 8 now im loosing hope.

if so this would only tech make it 6 working days so far..(post on a monday, tues=1,wed=2,thur=3,fri=4,mon=5,tue=6 days actualy in transit)

ill keep me fingers crossed that they turn up for you.

i think its worth the risk for this species,,looks amazing doesnt it?i bought 2 pairs of these..a pair of bark ,mantis..and 4 walbergie nympths..its the b.mendica im really after..they look so cool..he sent them on monday.so thats 8 days.but like u said only counts as 6 days..u never know the day isnt up yet.they still might rurn up..soon as they have il post on this thread..

Well, my O. planiceps female is almost gone - sho won't give me any new ooths - apparently she's dying. But the second generation should mate even this week I already let two males into the females container, she is not submissive yet, but in a few days...

In case of B. mendica I'd like to confirm the female's fertility first - male was doing his thing for about five hours, so she should be okay - but I'd like to be sure before I sell anything.

I'll be trying to mate the second female tomorrow - keep your fingers crossed.

well nothing turned up yesterday..iv lost hope now,. they been in the post for 9 days.

dont mean to sound patronising, but are you sure he's sent it? Maybe he sent it this monday because it was really cold in Germany last week?

I've ordered off Lars many times and i've never had any problems, with the package usually arriving 2-3 days.
