My Blepharosis mendica subadult female (Star) has been having problems since her last molt. I'm expecting a new molt soon, but she has just started to get really bad grip. It has gotten to the point where I can't hold her because she can't hold onto my hand. I'm worried about her. Will she get her good grip back next molt? She doesn't fall much inside her enclosure, but whenever I take her out, she can not grip my hand. Has anyone else had these problems? What should I do? Thanks!

Are her "feet" broken because she has bad grip?

I remebered this topic. Someone used tape to help a mantis molt. Maybe you can help your mantis with this too. Hope her feet will be healed after the molt.

I saw that post. Her feet are still there, and they look normal. She has all of her grip barbs still intact, and she doesn't have trouble gripping the screen on her cage, so she will be able to molt just fine, but she can't grip my hand, a table, even some smoother sticks! I hope she gets better after her molt as well!
