Behemoth Budwing ootheca & Threat!

She laid this about a week ago. It is by far the largest I've had.

That dent on the bottom is from a stick. She laid it right in the corner where two sticks crossed.

Here is mama mad at me. It was getting late and she needed to go into her enclosure and she freaked out on me. Sorry about quality.

She is actually really gentle. It's just when I disturb her when she's sleeping that she freaks out.

I I think it is. I mated her a week before she laid this. They We're connected 9 p.m. till 11 a.m. I put a disco ball on and played Barry White.

I'm not sure. I may have posted these pics before. This was taken to the smooth and deep tones of Santana springing forth from the speaker. She couldn't even look me in the eye. She was so ashamed.

This sounds like a fun species, I am really going to have to try them one day. I love female mantises with spunk.
