Hi all, I jumped in a posted to the forum elsewhere, but here's my belated intro. I'm somewhat new to the mantid hobby--I've had mantises before (creos, I believe). I am a long-term tarantula keeper--have had up to 35 different species at a time. I've also kept various reptiles and phasmids before.
I had recently gotten a chinse mantis egg case for my daughter to hatch and it got me all jazzed about mantises again. I purchased a few different species from the Mantis Place a couple days ago and I'm off and running with mantids again.
This seems like a lovely forum--I'm sure I'll need lots of help.
