Hi guys! You're probably familiar with the comic strip Bizarro that is published in 400+ newspapers around the country. The cartoonist, Dan Piraro, often draws praying mantises with funny captions.

Anyway, he is a friend of a friend and was over my house today to meet my bugs. He was SUPER into them! I told him about everyone in the Mantid Forum, and he posed for this shot so that I can share it with you. Below that are a few of his mantid cartoons. Hopefully his visit here will inspire him to create more! :)
