Okay, so I have my M. religiosa ooths incubating outside. For quite a while now, I've notice that the ends of the ooths are darkened. I wonder if it dried out or if this is normal. And if that portion is dried out, does that affect the rest off the ooth? Any input is appreciated. I'm putting up the pictures that I took showing the darkened areas. Also, the black didn't just appear randomly, nor did it spread. It's been there for about a couple of months.

-Thanks

Great, thanks a lot. I was afraid that during my early misting sessions, mold had infiltrated the ooth. Hopefully it is due to them about to hatch. :) I'm not sure when they hatch in the wild, so I'm just holding out.

I don't see anything wrong with those. Ooths have areas that are differnt shades.

Thanks for the replies. I've never hatched this species before so I was kinda worried/curious. So it looks like everything is going well. Just need them to hatch <_<

Lol I really can't. I've been mantid-less for months now. It's like I have withdrawal symptoms. I have my I. oratoria ooths, M. religiosa ooths and I'm getting some T. senensis ooths tomorrow. But I want what's inside them.
