black spots

if a mantis develops black spots does it usually account to old age as my gambian spotted eye mantis developed some black spots on both of her raptorial arms and her face looked a little dirty and i had her for at least 4+ months and she had laid at least 5 ooths all in this month but she just today showed black spots on both of her arms!
