Blaptica dubia (Dubia Roaches) are my favorite roach feeder. But they have bred lots, and I have too many now. I'm offering a generous number of all sizes, from adults to babies, to make starter group colonies of your own for $25.00 shipped.

This species is non-climbing, so does not need a barrier (no messy Vaseline needed). And they are not as quick as some of the other species, so they are easier to catch. I don't even keep a lid on their tub half of the time, as they never climb up the sides and can't get out. They love oranges! And I feed them my special mixture of cricket/roach food (finely ground cat food, dog food, guinea pig food, rabbit rood, fish flake food, fish pellet food, bee pollen, dried dandelion flowers, and I can't remember what else right now) all ground fine and mixed. And they LOVE it, by the way they chow it down. I think I'm going to start offering the cricket/roach food for sale soon if there is any interest. But I'll send a sample of it with your starter roach colony.

If you'd like to start your own colony of roaches with this offer, please let me know via PM or email at [email protected]. Thanks for looking! :)

aghh roaches! I've seen these at the local pet store - they look big. Can mantises actually handle these?

My Giant Shield seems as if he can't handle a large cricket. (got him on mediums)

It's the babies and intermediate sizes that you feed the mantids. The adults are just the "breeding machines."
