They will be a live and hatch when you receive them. I am going to put some newspaper in the container so they don't all bunch up and get wet from one another.
Stick them in the fridge, NOT the freezer for 30 minutes and pick out the ones you want to feed off.
If you want them to live for a long time, you can buy a mesh screen hamper from a Walgreens or some place, and hot glue cardboard to the opening so they cannot escape.
Put a small cup of sugar on the floor.
Toss them all in and in 5 minutes they'll be fully a wake and ready to buzz around. They'll eat that sugar by throwing up on it and then eating it melted. LOL.
Make sure you buy a mesh hamper that will fit your fridge, when you want to scoop out the ones you want to feed off.
You should mist their little mesh cage every day just twice. One misting spray, that's it.
